PT Krishnan obtained his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Madras in 1968 and went on to complete his M.Arch degree at the University of California at Berkeley in 1969. After working with the well known American firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in New York, he returned to India in 1971. After an eleven year stint with another office he established this firm in 1983.
He has been a member in several government appointed planning committees concerned with city planning and has authored several papers on urban issues, especially urban conservation and the profession.
On the academic side he has been a member on the Board of Studies of the School of Architecture, Anna University and the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. He has also been associated with the School of Architecture, Anna University and the MEASI Academy as a visiting faculty.
An active heritage conservationist, he was the Convener of the Tamilnadu Chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage for ten years.
Raja Shyam Sundar is a graduate in Bachelor of Architecture from School Of Architecture & Planning, Chennai in 1992. Special training in Interior De-signing and space Planning at the Institute of K.HaraAssociated Architects & Engineers, TOKYO.
Trained by well known Architects in India – Mr. Balakrishna V. Doshi, Ahmedabad (City Planning) & Mr.P.T Krishnan, Chennai (Institutional Buildings). Has three yeasrs of professional experience as Architect with LARSEN & TOUBRO LTD. – ECC CONSTRUCTION GROUP – During which most of the time was spent in designing and detailing of Township Master Plans for various Cement and Power plants in India. He is also a member of Indian Institute of Architects.
